Looking at maybe playing Jeff Garcia vs. the Cowboys...
Same here.Ben vs NYG
same here. I have TJO vs Sea as well but with that mess in SF, I'll lean toward CambellJason Campbell at Detroit
Romo at...ah, dammit. Brad Johnson it is. I'm not optimistic.Looking at maybe playing Jeff Garcia vs. the Cowboys...
Have this in two leagues. Hope they're as bad as I thought when I drafted.Jason Campbell at Detroit
:whoosh:Pennington (at home) vs Buffalo
So much for Romo. Now I just need to determine if Cutler's finger will be ok.The way our transactions work in this league is I can outright drop either Romo or Cutler (obviously not happening)...or I can "IR" one for 4 weeks (Romo). But he stays inactive for 4 weeks.Im between a few guys...leaning Garcia with Dallas and KC in the next 2 games...then Minny after the bye.But likely will only play the replacement for the one game if Cutler comes back just fine.I would just hate to go with Garcia over Edwards, Ryan or even...gasp...Pennington if Cutler gets hit on that hand again and Im stuck in a few weeks with no QB.I just don't like Ryan's game against Philly this week or Pennington's against Buffalo.Edwards may be my best bet with Miami, the Jets, New England, and then Cleveland the next 4 weeks if something happens to Cutler. But he only seems like a 1, maybe 2 TD kind of guy at most.RomoBut probably Garcia.
Great post... I have Rodgers on the bye but same difference...I'm torn between:Garcia @ DALPenny v. BUFBulger @ NWEDAL and NWE have serious problems with deep pass protection, and the Rams certainly look like they're coming around of late with Avery evolving as a legit weapon to complement holt & jackson. Pennington has been the model of consistency... no picks the last 3 games, throwing 25-30 times a game, and usually good for at least on TD. won't dazzle you but you know what you're getting.that said, i think i'm going with garcia despite my fears that it'll be a blowout again for Dallas (leading to less throws)So much for Romo. Now I just need to determine if Cutler's finger will be ok.The way our transactions work in this league is I can outright drop either Romo or Cutler (obviously not happening)...or I can "IR" one for 4 weeks (Romo). I can choose between Delhomme, Garcia, Bulger, Cassell, Campbell, O'Sullivan, Ryan (8 team league)...and I'm starting to lean towards Campbell...Garcia: Jones and Newman out, Rams lit up the Boys last week, but Bulger was enhBulger: see aboveCassell: 3 tds, not a lot of yards, but that was against a torn up secondary, now he gets the Rams D that tossed aruond the Boys offenseCampbell: Detroit, nuff saidO'Sullivan: against Seattle, intra division game, may rely heavily on GoreRyan: coming home to Philly, but playing a team that had a bye week to prep (so did ATL), but also a team that has seen its division get beat up (Redskins, Cowboys) over the past two weeksDelhomme: plays Arizona, which roughed up Romo last I checked.Between Garcia and Campbell...any word on Campbell's groin injury?I Am Rick James said:Campbell against DET. Come to think of it, I may have started him even without the Cutler bye.
