The thing that stands out the most to me, at this point, is Bowlen's comment about "might be losing our star quarterback". He hasn't been saying anything, so that is a rather large concession to come out and say publicly. Not good. Writing's on the wall.Again, ever since I heard that Country Club story, and a few others to go along with it, I've been wary of him. He, without question, has a serious attitude problem, that somehow doesn't really come across to the public (until now). He has had, for some reason, a very good image. It appears we are just seeing the real Cutler now, but you can bet it's always been there, and the Broncos probably knew this was coming, one way or the other. The fact Bowlen, who has a keen eye on the situation, is taking the coach's side in this, tells me more than any media sources, stories, or rumors ever will. It's not like he doesn't understand star QBs, or that he's not a great owner. If he is willing to go so far as to cut bait, then he thinks the kid isn't going to change. Makes some sense, because he's definitely one stubborn SOB. We know that, now...Jeff George, Jr?At this point, my biggest concern is that they get good value for him. I think he's gone.
