Cutler Wk 1 Stat Change Gives Him 300 Yards? (1 Viewer)

Didn't see this posted anywhere else, but I assume this is confirmed? I know this would have an impact on my game:

. . . After an official review of game footage from Monday's rout of the Raiders, Cutler was credited for one additional passing yard on a fourth- quarter completion to Nate Jackson. That brings Cutler's total to 300 yards, making it the third 300-yard passing game of his career.

I also see him listed w/300 here on NFL.COM:

Has CBS or any of the other sites made any changes?

ESPN and Yahoo both have 300 yards in their stats section. But ESPN and MFL have not changed it in fantasy games Anyone know if they all do it automatically or if it must be done by commissioner?

True story.

A friend of mine was losing his game 74-72, and he would have gotten a 2-point bonus if Cutler was credited with the (obvious) 3-yard pass and gotten to 300 yards.

He calls Elias Sports Bureau to complain, and they tell him scoring is kept by the home team. He then calls the Broncos, is transferred to one of their statisticians, and he says they're aware of Cutler only getting credited for 2 yards, and are appealing to the NFL.

When Cutler gets the extra yard, he calls his commish, makes the change in CBS Sportsline, and he gets his tie.

Wow. People call the Elias Sports Bureau and NFL teams because of their fantasy teams in week 1?Serious business.

I don't think CBS will go and automatically adjust the stats. I'm the commish and I know I can manually change it but I roll with CBS as they state games are final end of Tuesday.

I sent an email to CBS Sportsline asking how they were going to handle the change and received a response saying their policy was not to make any changes in stats/scoring for any NFL stat changes received after "end-of-day Tuesday." So you are right -- if any CBS leagues want to score this change, their commissioners will have to do it manually.

I wonder if his mom didn't mind him calling long distance from the basement.

I am commish of a 12 team leauge where we have in the rules that "Scores are Official at 12:00 pm on Wednesday" and any official scoring change after that point is invalid to apply to the outcome of a match or point total.

If a scoring change is recorded, 1 of the teams involved in the match must submit a claim before the deadline to have the change investigated and any score adjusted.

I have seen a negative change be recorded too, but we have never had it effect the outcome of a match.
