D-Jax forward (1 Viewer)

Ok, so every week i cant resist nitpicking the top 250 forward.

This week it's Darrell Jackson. He dropped from WR14 to WR16, even though to date he is the #4 WR in fantasy- for the record he's outproduced Torry Holt... with Seneca Wallace at the helm the last few weeks. He's about due to get Hasselbeck back and Seattles scedule includes SF twice, Green Bay, Arizona (playoffs are @Arizona, SF, SD). What am I missing here?

:goodposting: Not too many WRs I'd take over D Jax right now - hes been very consistant even in a bad situation. I don't see Alexander being 100% all year so I think his numbers are going to continut to be very good.

even though he's had some drops, his fantasy production has been consistently good.

I like him going forward, the only formidable DEF they play are SD and Denver...and they get SanFran twice...With Hasselbeck coming back, I look for solid numbers from Branch and Djax as the Hawks fight for the number 2 seed in the NFC.

Another week, another slight for D-jax in the top 250. This week he's actually crept up to #11! Of course he remains the #4 WR to date and leads the league in TDs, oh, and he's got his pro-bowl QB back, is on a team fighting for a play-off spot, and plays Arizona and SF in the first 2 playoff rounds. Whats the guy got to do to earn some respect?

I heard that bone-head Dan Patrick describe him as 'somebody you've never heard of' and 'not even the best reciever on his team' yesterday. Branch has almost exactly half of Jacksons production to date. Branch has never outperformed Jackson when Jackson was active. Apparently if your last name isnt Owens Patrick has no time for you. Stick to baseball Danny- and i dont want to hear about that until March. Or ever.

Lets give Darrell Jackson some respect, for gods sake he's going to be a top-10 WR barring a catastrophic injury, and chances are he will be top 5. All he does is produce.

As a DJax owner, I hope you're right. I'm sure the slight is because Branch & Hackett have been getting increasing targets recently. Hackett catches everything thrown his direction.

Hackett's definitely a talent. It'll be interesting to see if he keeps the No. 3 WR job when Engram returns (possibly this week). As far as DJax, he is constantly under-rated. The guy is a fine WR and there are few WRs I'd take ahead of him right now.

It could be argued that Alexander's return (if he plays like he did against the Pack) will hurt Jackson's numbers. I think not, Alexander moves the chains which is what has been hurting Seattle. Move the chains means more red-zone opportunities, and Jackson has almost twice the redzone targets as anyone else.

Interestingly: Jackson has 4 TDS inside the 15, and his 5 others TDs are from 40+ yards. They throw him the bomb, and they throw him the red zone TDs- ironic considering Jackson was assumed to be the possession reciever and Branch the big hitter. Its turned out to be exactly the opposite.

Bump. He's also ranked pretty low in the preliminary cheatsheets this week. I know he may be covered by Champ on Sunday, but his ranking still seems rather low.

Not sure why the staff is so low on this guy.

I have monitored D-Jax's top 250 ranking all year long. Dodds has consistently undervalued him. D-Jax has been performing week in week out with almost no off game, Dodds started off the year by ranking him WR30 (which I attributed to the injury concerns) but Dodds he has not caught up in his rankings. Dodds does not seem to like the guy and has been proven wrong so far.
