Daily Email Updates (1 Viewer)

FBG changed the layout of the daily email - no biggie...except for the fact that the player updates "links" within the email suddenly don't work now. The "Back to Top" links work, but I liked clicking on whih update I wanted to read and have it pop right to that update.

Anyone else having this issue?

Thanks Double G. Yes, we're working on making the hyperlinks work so you can click on the table of contents of stories and jump to the story you want. That's an important feature especially when there are a lot of stories.If folks are having other problems, please let us know here. Thanks.J

If not already available, I'd like to add my vote for a low-tech email option. When reading the daily email update on my large screen desktop machine, either format works well, and the new format is visually more appealing and eventually can be made to do more things. However, some segment of the footballguys readership look at their mail (at least some of the time) on a low tech device. The new version wastes time and provides no added value for those people. Despite having a Blackberry, certainly not the lowest tech device on the market, I find the new format inconvenient to navigate. In addition, there's the question of accessibility (for tools like screen readers) of the new format for some of your members.

I find the new emails difficult to read. The font is too small. I actually prefer the format of the old emails.

I agree with the font being too small. I use this example from Monday's email: " Teams are coming out of the woodwork to deny interest in Owens, but he could get a call when training camp injuries hit." On my screen "injuries" looks like "in juries", two separate words. The "J" and the "U" are so close it's like they're one letter.

I like that don't have to scroll down through all of the "Site News" to get to the updates any more, but I'd prefer if that was on the right side (I need to scroll to the right to read the updates now).

The "Our View" text is too small. The new layout definitely makes it harder to read on my Blackberry (where I read 75%+ of the daily updates.

I usually read the email on a phone. So simple is best. Can you add a number identifying each story , so I can quickly scroll to the number that interests me?
