Dallas Clark (1 Viewer)

The Associated Press reports that the Colts signed Dallas Clark to a six-year contract extension. Terms haven't been disclosed.

They named Clark their franchise player yesterday, but now have freed up some '08 cap space. Clark is more of a wide receiver than a tight end, but he perfectly fits what the Colts do on offense. Even if Marvin Harrison doesn't fully come back, Peyton Manning has enough weapons to keep the Colts offense humming.

I would assume this hurt's Anthony Gonzo's dynasty value somewhat.
I think its more of a signal that the Brass at Indy believe that Marv's days are over....
Even if Harrison is toast, Gonzalez will be no better than the #3 option (behind Wayne and Clark) for the next 4-5 years. Granted, Stokley posted a 1k season as the #3 option a few years ago, but the odds may be stacked against Anthony.

I don't know... Gonzo was doing very weel at the end of last yr. Teams will attempt to double Wayne; Clark should take the attention of the Safety (not many LBs can cover him), leaving Gonzo one on one... this is if Marv is truly toast. If Marv comes back; Gonzo won't be doing much.

I think you underestimate Gonzalez's talent/fit and why Indy spent a 1st round draft pick on him.

There is enough balls, yardage and TD's to go around for Gonzo to be effective if he is starting and Harrison is done. If Harrison comes back than Gonzo is bench warmer but as long as Manning is the Indy QB than Wayne, Clark and Gonzo and the RB will all post good to excellent fantasy numbers. 4000 and 30 is lots of numbers to go around
