When can they get out of Zekes deal? Zeke has no burst left and is basically a dime a dozen plodder.

Right now Zeke is basically a goal line- short yardage type of RB that can easily be replaced.

I don't think you're spreading or disseminating any real news here.

I just looked and Elliott is only 27. Hard to believe how fast he has declined in ability without having serious leg injuries.

What happened to have this drop off? If Dallas let him go I doubt he would get much more than the Vet minimum or a 1 year deal from any other team.

Pollard is more talented although now he has a broken leg and needs surgery.

You just should never give big money to a RB in today's NFL. Put the money into QB, WR, OL. Think the Cowboys felt they had to double down since they drafted him so high. We'll see if the Giants do the same with Barkley.
I mean even Christian McCaffery - yea, he's good, but. 4 of the top 5 leading rushers didn't make the playoffs.

The last play of that game was an embarrassment to the sport

Almost as bad as last year.
:lmao:

You can’t make this **** up
Fellow Cowboys fan at the bar when Shultz half assed that catch- “this is the most Cowboys way to lose”.
Schultz had two bone headed plays in a row on that drive. Going out of bounds backwards also.

True, there were a couple bone headed plays at the end. Schultz did seem way too nonchalant those last 2 catches. Needs to be aware of situation.

The SF RB could have blown the game by not going down after picking up the first down but going OB to stop the clock. Goes down the game is over.

punt returner fair catching ball on 6 yard line was another one.

I have seen that defended that if he lets that go it can burn 10+ seconds if it does not immediately end up in the endzone

Not by very bright people I would assume

If you pay a RB, he has to be a big part of your passing game.

Personally, I'd argue Zeke has always been overrated. Zeke was basically a 1-1 replacement for DeMarco Murray, and both benefitted from having excellent OLs for the majority of their runs. Zeke was probably never as good as 2014 Murray though.

Pollard has been the better player for years, and its sad it took Dallas so long to finally realize it.

NYG probably shouldn't sign Barkley to a big deal either.

I mean it's sports talk radio.

i come in peace with this one because it is a bit of a serious question. Why in the world are there so many fights at Cowboys games between Cowboys fans? is it simply more publicity so it gives a false impression, more phones and people loving to post these fights on social media, or what? i don't think i have ever seen a fanbase from any of the major sports internally fight so much, does it have something to do with Texas being kind a state where people dislike each other a ton? seems strange, and wondering if it is a thing, or just gets more media attn than other teams:

Prescott taking some pretty good heat today from the pundits on NFL Network. Watching the replays he easily could have had 4 INTs.

I really like Prescott as a person, seems like a really good genuine guy. Reality is he is a middle of the pack QB right now and looks like he has slowed down as a runner as well. Jones has to roll with him at least for another season then make a decision on QB.

I scrolled up for a short bit before posting this, but didn't put a lot of effort into it, so apologies if this has already appeared.

Seems like Jeruh is pretty pissed at Dak - he forgives everyone and everything but Dak and then has the Cowboys official twitter site post this.

seems like the real deal

yikes

He's also taking some heat from someone running the Dallas Cowboys' Twitter account

"Dak Prescott gave away the ball twice in the narrow loss to the 49ers, in a matchup the Cowboys had a chance to win if they didn’t again generate self-inflicted wounds."

Seems like this was a bad unroll from the website linking an article about the game. Not clear why it's still up though.

Unfortunately he's not middle of the pack. He's top 3rd. He's in that Kirk Cousins area where owners can't get rid of them because they win games in the regular season but always seem to come up short in the post season. It's so hard to find and develop a QB in this league. I think Jerry will get a new coach before getting rid of Dak.

I think you probably answered your own question, there are not more Cowboy fan fights, it probably just gets more media attention. And people in Texas like each other just fine. Drunk people, after a bitter playoff loss, now they might be prone to getting into fights. Just a thought. And I saw Silver Linings Playbook. Eagle fans get in fights too lol.

I agree. Cousins is a good comparison. Good enough to put up decent numbers and win more than lose. Both Cousins and Prescott are prone to the big INTs in crunch time.

also mutual combat is legal in Texas as long as there is consent...

RACK HIM!!

losing faith in Dak, just hasn't looked the same since the leg injury. No way to get away from him for at least two more years, gunna be a long two years. Frustrating as I really liked him and thought he could lead Dallas for a long time.

Seeing indications that Moore wont be back, not sure if its him or Dak limitations.

Zeke, good as gone, he seems to want to stay and restructure. As long as it helps with the cap, fine with him staying in a limited role. That said, I dont buy Pollard being a lead back full time. Saw that ESPN projected Dallas taking Bijan, doubt it, would be an upgrade for sure. But so many needs on this team.
