I'm in the grey area I guess. I like some of the players. I dislike Jerry. I like Aikman and Emmett. I dislike The "U" Michael Irvin.

I'm in the grey.

Lets just say I have a stake in them doing well. :lmao: (Romo 3 Dynastys , T.O 1 Redraft, Barber 1 Keeper/1 Dynasty, Witten 1 Dynasty, Folk 1 Dynasty , Cowboys D 2 Redrafts)

Does this mean I have to LOVE "America's Team" ? nah.

Not even a little either way?
I really didn't like Michael Irvin, and still feel he's terribly overrated. But Aikman was a good QB, and Emmit was a great RB.I have nothing vested for or against this Cowboys team, and wasn't a big football fan yet during the Steelers vs. Cowboys heyday.I don't care for Jerry Jones much, but I do like his passion for the game.Don't have any Cowboys on my FF team, but that has more to do with avoiding the RBBC, Witten and Owens being drafted before I had a shot at them, and me thinking Romo is more what he played like tonight than the first few weeks.So... don't really love or hate them. In all honesty, the ting I dislike most is the way their fans act. Same reason I dislike Pittsburgh fans. And of course, that's not all of them, just a few that have left a lasting negative impresion.

I despise everything about them. Actually the only NFL team that I really, really hate.

I'm a Skins fan.

I used to really love 'em, but that was a long time ago. Now I identify with players more than NFL teams, so the only team I really care about winning or losing is the Titans.

That was a great game though.

After tonights game, one thing's for sure; the Dallas Cowboys are protected on high by the Prince of Darkness himself.

I'm convinced Jerry Jones sold his soul for a Cowboys undefeated season and a trip to the show.

I felt the same way about PIT, SF and GB for years. I came to realize I didn't like GB because of the Ice Bowl and PIT because of the 2 SB losses to them. SF was because of "the Catch". I now am able to acknowledge those were great teams that beat DAL and am ok with it. Philly is really the only team I "hate" and I am using "hate" because of the old cliche of "love 'em or hate 'em". Dislike is more appropriate. But when Philly fans cheered for Michael Irvin's career ending injury I decided more than just a few fans were not worthy of my respect and therefore the entire organization pays the price. I actually like Andy Reid but it will be a few more years before I forgive them for that moment against my teams best WR.

I grew up in New England during the 1970s. During this time, the Patriots rarely sold out home games, meaning they were often not on television. The Cowboys, on the other hand, were always on tv. I watched Roger Staubach and Tony Dorsett and was hooked. Super Bowl XII was the first game I remember seeing (I was 7). While many of my friends "grew out" of liking teams like the Cowboys, Vikings, Raiders, and Steelers, I remained loyal to the Pokes.

I'm sure that many other New England natives on this board can attest to this experience. My guess is that guys who are between 30-45 and live in New England did not start out as Pats fans as young kids. Of my group of friends, only 1 guy was a Pats fan from the beginning, the rest were converts from other teams until the Pats appearance in Super Bowl XX.

You can rightfully say I was a bandwagon jumper, but I also endured the lean years, and now live in New England during a time where the Pats stand alone atop the NFL, and am as loyal as ever.

Not trying to nitpick here, but what qualifies them to "stand alone atop the NFL"? Their 3 SB in 4 years were great, and they're very good this year, but it has been 2 years since their last SB win. I don't think this allows them to "stand alone".Just my $0.02 as a Colts fan. But, I'd think the Steelers fans would also agree.
