Three weeks from now when Dallas punches New England square in the jaw and sends them yankees packing back to Foxboro, I'll be here to tell you I told you so. And how 'bout them COWBOYS!!!!

That will be the game of the season up until that point. That will be a great game. Moss and Owens. Romo and Brady. Annoying running games from a fantasy perspective. Witten and Watson. That will be an awesome game...

If you mean a Dallas player is going to punch a New England player in the jaw because he's frustrated that his team is down by three scores in the fourth, I agree.

If you mean Dallas is gonna win, I disagree strongly, and I've been pretty high on the Cowboys since preseason.

I thought it was common knowledge the way to take Moss out of a game is to be over-the-top aggressive and beat him up very early in the game. He gets into a funk and doesn't come out for the rest of the game.

Either way, it will be a heck of a game.

Dallas 27

New England 21

I'm such a :whoosh:

NOPE. Miami does it in week 7. If by chance, the Pats are 15-0, Miami is guaranteed will spoil the fun in week 16. Mark it down.

:whoosh:

I expect Dallas to have no answer for Moss... I am a cowboys fan.
Agreed...Randy Moss will run through the Dallas secondary like it wasn't there...if you think Plax had a field day. :whoosh:
To be fair, the Dallas secondary wasn't there when Plax played. Terrence Newman is good and Jacques Reeves blows. Not that Newman is gonna shut down Moss or anything, but I wouldn't use Week 1 as a basis for comparison.

Havent you read Rick Reilly's backpage article in SI on Tom Brady???? Dont you know he's "6'4 with a CHIN you can crack coconuts on"???? Dallas can hit that jaw all they want. It aint breakin'.

True, but I still think this is where the elite teams will beat Dallas.

New England O = Dallas O

New England D >>>>>> Dallas D

New England ST >>>>>> Dallas ST

35-24 New England

Moss will have alligator arms with Roy Williams lurking.
I strongly doubt the Cowboys will want Roy Williams to have any coverage responsibilites at all that involve Randy Moss.
Roy Williams doesn't have to cover, just head hunt once or twice.
Maybe a horse collar tackle as well. Hurting NE's WRs is the only option Dallas has of slowing them down.Problem with your prediction is that NE doesn't have a glass jaw. Tony Romo? Pffft. They'll be calling him Tony Nomo after Thomas, Colvin and Seymour beat him into Mexico. Good luck.

As a fellow Cowboy fan.....just stop. We wonder why people hate the Cowboys. The Cowboys are a VERY good team with a great offense and an up and coming defense that still needs some work. To say we are going to punch the Pats in the mouth is laughable at best. I think we can give them a game at home and would say that we have a 35-40% to beat them. All other fans please kindly disregard the oridinal poster as he does NOT represent the views of most knowledgable Cowboy fans. That is all.

Roy Williams will be chasing Moss, not zeroing in on him. Moss only has to worry about getting HCed. I'll bet that Roy Williams is the biggest liability in the game. I actually expect Romo do well and it'll be a game. But that Dallas secondary, especially Capt Overrated is gonna be embarassed.

I think there's another WR who is more likely to go into a funk.

Last time TO and Moss had their big matchup, TO lost big time.
:lmao: 2005 Week 3Philly 23, Oak 20Moss: 5 catches, 86 yardsOwens: 9 catches, 90 yards, 1 TD
Have we resorted to comparing Moss in Oakland with Moss in NE with a straight face? Seriously? :lmao:
 2004 Week 2Philly 27, Minn 16Moss: 8 catches, 69 yards, 1 TDOwens: 4 catches, 79 yards, 1 TDETA: The post I was responding to said the last time TO and Moss had their big matchup, TO lost big time. The last time they met was 2005.

New England is totally going to sweep the Bills in their two matchups in 2012!!

Seriously, why are we talking about a matchup 3 weeks from now? This is like the Yahoo team forums now.

That was... awful. I mean historically bad. The guys who created "New Coke" just read that and wondered what the hell you were thinking.I'd make New England 1 TD favorites at this point.

too much talk about Moss and T.O. here.

this will be about the O-lines and D-lines of each team and that's why NE will have an advantage.

Sure everyone knows that the NE D line (even without Seymour) is impressive, but so far, their O-line has been dominant in both pass and run blocking.

DAL is a nice team right now. Their fans should be excited about 'em, they could easily take the NFC. But 3 weeks of NFC success just isn't that impressive.

I stated in the other thread, as a Pats fan, I'm still more concerned with an IND, SD (yes, SD), or DEN than I am with DAL.
