Damon and Jason Marquis for BJ Upton (1 Viewer)

Would you do this deal ? My SP is week, Sabathia/Vazquez/Price/Pocello/Correia, Marquis probably drops right in the starting lineup in place of correia or Price and Damon doesn't seem like a real drop off from Upton. Maybe a little less upside but probably more consistent.

Without considering the fact that I like Correia and Price more than Marquis, you can probably find 100 Jason Marquises on waivers at any point in the season. And the drop-off from Upton to Damon is already large, and will be enormous by the end of 2010.

No logical reason to do this trade whatsoever.

like MB said, Jason Marquis is not a trade chip in any way, shape, or form.

Damon for Upton is insane.

I actually think your starting pitching could be OK. Porcello and Price have serious upside and if they don't hit you can get by adding some waiver wire guys to CC and JV.
