My league gives -1 point for K's so that hurts Uggla and Phillips is a possible 30/30 type guy (did it in 2007). However, before Phillips hurt his finger and was done for the 2008 season, he was slumping hardcore. Hmmmm.....

Who would you take as your 2nd baseman?

Phillips stolen bases make him much more valuable than Uggla, imo. Add to that -1 for K's, and well, Uggla averages 60-70 more k's per year, and this is a no-brainer.

(I'm a biased Phillips owner, but I really think he will put up better numbers this year, in a better hitters park - his struggles last year were a lot from pressing with Adam Dunn and Griffey Jr gone or not producing)

In a points league, I'd have to know scoring.

Have to think Phillips would be better in most systems, but if walks are weighted heavily and steals aren't, Uggla might have a shot.

It's a complicated point scoring system.....
