In Dodds (I think its his rating) top 250 for the rest of the season, Danario is down at WR 91. Am I missing something?
You think it should be higher based on what? One (3 catch) monster game? Last year he had three games with at least 4 catches and 72 yards., In the next game, he went 1-6, 2-20, and 3-14.The word today:In Dodds (I think its his rating) top 250 for the rest of the season, Danario is down at WR 91. Am I missing something?
Encouraging, to be sure. Five knee surgeries is enough to give you pause.Personally, I would never roster him because I'd never plug him in. If you think you have the magic formula to figure out if THIS WEEK is the one he goes 3-122-1 or 3-14-0, more power to ya.Danario Alexander to see more snaps -- Tue Sep 20 6:10 pm --
Alexander will see more action going forward
Coach Steve Spagnuolo said WR Danario Alexander's workload will increase this week though team has to be cautious with him because of knee. (St. Louis Rams on Twitter)
How did he get the DX nickname? Is his middle name Xavier by chance? This is really pretty simple. As good as DX looks, his knee is basically toast. Yeah, he can dominate in spurts, & that's the reason they keep him as their WR4, but his knee could go at any time.Trainers have said it'll never get better. They're trying to keep what they have, but it will eventually deteriorate to where he can't play. It's the reason he wasn't drafted & was signed as a longshot by the Rams. DX has played more than doctors thought he would, but it's only a matter of time. Maybe DX can keep playing in a reserve role for quite awhile, not sure. I hope so, but it's very doubtful. It's a shame because Bradford/Alexander could've been one of the best hookups of all time. Bradford will eventually get the WRs he needs to be a dominant FF QB, but it's not going to be DX.

The rankings are very conservative. Each time a player does good they move up the chart a little ways. You have to do your own forecasting to determine where they actually might rank if they continue to perform at what you believe is their current performance level. In Dodds (I think its his rating) top 250 for the rest of the season, Danario is down at WR 91. Nicknames are terrible these days. (Generally just initials, etc) They are probably a reflection of an increasingly uncreative fan base, used to being spoon-fed their entertainment.I've always said the shark pool needs more heated debate about nicknames.
Or maybe, in today's day and age of texting shorthand, we're just too lazy to type out full names. Know what I mean?C U L8r, gb. gtg. hth.'ArlingtonTerp said:Nicknames are terrible these days. It took a player to name "Megatron"... one of the better nicknames I've heard. That and "Law Firm".'ArlingtonTerp said:Nicknames are terrible these days. AD stands for All DayWhat's the deal with AD? His last name is Peterson, right?
His family said he could run All Day and it stuck. Also the X is about having the X factor that allowed him to break every receiving record at Missouri, not the Simon Cowell show.'Mentos said:AD stands for All Day'TakiToki said:What's the deal with AD? His last name is Peterson, right?

Interesting...how do I break this to Reggie Wayne...Spags said that DX will be on the field for double the snaps next week. I still can't find if the guy practiced
Rams OC Josh McDaniels backed coach Steve Spagnuolo's statement that Danario Alexander has earned more playing time going forward."Danario had a great game and he's had a good week in practice," McDaniels said. "He's earned the right to be out there more certainly. We're excited about what he can do." Spags and Alexander both acknowledge that the surgically repaired knee has to be "managed" and that he may never be a full-time player. "We try to only give him a certain amount of snaps during the week," Spagnuolo said. "I think you need to do right by your players, too."Spags said that DX will be on the field for double the snaps next week. I still can't find if the guy practiced
The abbreviations shtick is getting old, but I'd definately start him at flex over Johnson or Smith.Would you start DX over RJ, WU, HQ, or SY this week?
