Daniel Graham or Tony Scheffler (1 Viewer)

I know Shannon Sharpe is a HOF'er. I do not want to say that either Graham or Scheffler are in the same category of TE's as Sharpe....they are not. But could Shannahan use one more as a pass receiver than the other? Prior to Watson in NE, Graham held so much promise. Shanny has sung his praises essentially saying he is too good to take off of the field. They spent a second round pick on Scheffler last year. One would think Shanny likes to use a pass catching TE in his offense. So which one has a chance to play the Shannon Sharpe role, assuming Shanny wants that role to be played?

Read the spotlight on Graham, this has been discussed pretty thoroughly.

IMHO, Graham isn't going to do much except maybe a few random TDs. Scheffler might do something when he comes back. The real question in my mind is whether Graham hurts Scheffler's value by stealing some of his TDs.

Which one is more likely to be used like Shannon Sharpe? That's Scheffler, in a landslide. Scheffler's the guy who looks like a WR out there. He's the guy with the downfield speed and the open-field moves. Who has more fantasy value this week? That's anyone's guess- just because Graham won't be used like Sharpe was doesn't mean he won't be used. Dwayne Carswell had some pretty solid fantasy seasons in Denver, and Daniel Graham is MUCH better in the passing game than Carswell ever was. He'll be used differently than Sharpe, but make no mistake- he WILL be used.

If I had to guess, I think Graham outproduces Scheffler this season, but if you're looking to roll the dice on upside, Scheffler's is much higher.
