Daniel Thomas, RB, Miami Dolphins (1 Viewer)

Daniel Thomas (hamstring) was held out of Dolphins practice Wednesday.

Thomas is not believed to have suffered further injury in Sunday's disappointing effort against the Broncos, but his absence today is a concern after he was able to practice on a limited basis all last week. There have been no other indications he'll be inactive against the Giants, but going back to the preseason, Thomas has struggled to produce at less than 100 percent. He needs to practice the next two days to be started with confidence this weekend.Oct 26 - 6:51 PM

I keep seeing Thomas as a high ranking every week, but he is failing to do much with his opportunities. Last week I started because of bye weeks, but I'm hoping to have him sit on my bench as an emergency RB until he shows something.

what's been 'killing' his value is that Reggie Bush has actually been productive/getting carries that he wasn't for the few weeks Thomas was 'heating up'.

Daniel Thomas (hamstring) returned to Dolphins practice Thursday.

This confirms that Thomas did not suffer a setback in Sunday's loss to the Broncos. Although his hamstring clearly isn't 100 percent, it will likely be strong enough for him to play this week. Thomas is averaging just 2.94 yards per carry in his last two games, leaving him as an unexciting RB2 against the Giants.Source: Benjamin Volin on TwitterOct 27 - 12:54 PM

I've seen conflicting reports from ESPN and CBS saying that he did not practice today (thusday). Can somebody hit us with a local report to confirm? Or is the twitter source a guy in the know in Miami?
