Danny Amendola? (1 Viewer)

Really dont know much about the lil fella, but he is for now listed as a starter for St.Louis.

When i saw he was from Texas Tech and i know the wr's they like in there system it might be something to him.

Anyone got any take on this guy?

The dude can play. He's quick with good hands. He is WW lite. Depending on if the Rams o-line holds up and gives Bradford time, Amondole could have a big year. I like the most of all Rams receivers in a ppr.

Was on the Eagles for last preseason. I hoped they kept the guy but numbers didn't work out. He has alot of potential. In KR/PR leagues he's a must own. Could find a niche as the possession guy in Stl.

Solid backup WR to have if your league counts return yards. Otherwise there's probably safer options available towards the end of a draft.

In PPR leagues, I think he can be a top 36 option with a full year starting. In PPR/KR leagues, he is a rock solid top 24 option with top 15 potential (last year he was top 24 in this format and did not start to begin the year). Basically, he is REALLY undervalued in PPR/KR leagues.

I agree that Amendola could be a solid option in PPR and return yardage leagues, but keep in mind that unlike last year, he has competition for the returner job. Depending on who (if anyone) takes hold of the WR2 or slot receiver positions, Amendola or Gilyard could end up being the primary returner.

Now if you could ship him to NE and get rid of Welker and Edelman, you'd be all set!

I kid, but the point is that Welker is in the ideal situation for his abilities, and Amendola is near the other end of that spectrum.

I firmly believe the Rams will be better this year, but they aren't likely to be "good" either, and I'm not sure the team will support a secondary WR as a decent fantasy prospect. Could be wrong, but I think this one is a stretch.

I followed both closely in college. He isn't anywhere close to Welker, but few are.

I don't think he will do much this year, paerticularly in that offense.

That would certainly destroy his value. I have seen that Amendola's listed as the first-team flanker, but no word on losing reps at KR .. yet.

Please keep us informed if you hear anything.
