Hayes is starting at MLB with Darling at WLB? the depth charts have darling backing up hayes.

Yep, Darling (for now) is the primary backup at both MLB and WLB. The Cardinals gave Darling some snaps outside toward the end of camp in case Dansby is out longer than anticipated. Huff will join Darling as depth when Dansby returns.

I have added Hayes and starting him week one.

Keeping Darling to see how much of a role he has in the defense and how well he performs. Darling has been thier most reliable Lb previously so he may not be phased out yet. I am waiting to see what happens with him before I cut.

Is Darling still in the nickel or will Hayes be in there? Hayes was in the nickel during the preseason but maybe Dansby will take his spot when he gets healthy?
