So.....................how is this all of a sudden a "thing" for him NOW?????
Seems like this should have been a "thing" a long time ago.

It probably was. He's probably been doing this since college, or at least his early days in the league. Like a serial killer, it wouldn't surprise me if he started to get overconfident or sloppy over the years. You don't do this THIS many times and not have some type of god complex, thinking you're invincible and in control. Who knows, maybe drugging and raping multiple women simultaneously is a newer "thing" for him. What a nightmare.So.....................how is this all of a sudden a "thing" for him NOW?????

Normally I would take a similar stance and cautiously await trial. However, in this case they have the residue found in shot glasses and in the woman's blood work. Couple that with the fact that they have investigations in multiple states suggests to me the smoke as long been engulfed in a raging inferno of guilt. Moreover, even the attorney used the word "Hopefully" in the statement about the truth will come out in court. Could be a slip up but most attorneys defending a high profile client, make emphatic statements that don't leave much doubt about their conviction as to whether or not his client is guilty or not. If I had to bet on it, I would put my money on Sharper being a slimy POS rapist that should get the death penalty as you stated. No telling how many other woman haven't and won't come forward due to the shame or circumstances in which they were raped. Many know how hard it is to come forward in the first place let alone go against a high profile person. Not to mention having to re-live the event. I also agree with the poster that believes there a many victims. Sharper got so comfortable with his methods I find it hard to believe it was a relatively rare occurrence. They may have just stumbled upon one of the worst and sickest serial rapist in America. The fact that he chose to drug the woman tells a lot about him. An athlete like him who doesn't need look very hard to find willing woman chose to be a predator is scary. I seriously hope many of the woman have the strength to come forward and bury the guy. This type of crime I put on par with murder. While you are not taking someones life, you are altering a person's life to the point at which some of the victims wish they were dead. While I reserve my judgement until his day in court (as I stand true in my beliefs of innocent until proven guilty as I stated in the Hernandez thread) I would like to see him have access to the drug and maybe a glass with the drug residue on it or his fluid found on a complaining woman. It has been proven that some woman do cry fake rape crimes, not saying that is the case here, but thats why evidence and proof is crucial. Sharper, if you did this, you deserve to have your stuff cut off and fed to you.
EDIT: Since I know some posting in this thread have a history of believing people did crimes because others say so. Before anyone says with certainty that Sharper did this and I am not saying he didn't, remember Brian Banks. This is why you never convict anyone just because someone says so. You need proof and evidence, not circumstantial evidence.

You'd think so, but I bet if he shoves 1K at each of his victims, most probably took the money and run.yeah, I jsut figured he woulda got caught by now.It probably was. I wonder where he is getting the drugs
ex-NFL players can get nearly whatever prescription they want, as long as they don't look like they are crackheads.yeah, I jsut figured he woulda got caught by now.It probably was. Brian Banks didn't face about ten accusations in 3-4 different cities scattered across the country. But if you can think of someone that did and wasn't convicted, let us know. This type of crime I put on par with murder. An acquaintance of Sharper, Erik Nunez, 26, also is facing charges in the rapes of women, which police said occurred in September 2013.
Both men are wanted on two counts of aggravated rape. A conviction of aggravated rape in Louisiana carries a sentence of “life imprisonment at hard labor without benefit of parole, probation or suspension of sentence,” the department said.
Earlier this month, Los Angeles County prosecutors charged Sharper, who played 14 seasons as a safety in the NFL for three different teams, with seven felonies in connection with two separate incidents in Los Angeles in which he's accused of drugging and raping women he met at nightclubs. At the time, they stated that Sharper was under investigation for similar assaults in other states. Law enforcement officials and prosecutors say he also is being investigated in connection with crimes in Arizona and Florida.
Or worse, IMO.How can people that have so much be so stupid? A serial rapist should absolutely be treated like a murderer.
In jail he will be treated worse...Two Deep said:How can people that have so much be so stupid? A serial rapist should absolutely be treated like a murderer.
More details here.Indicted on 2 more counts of sexual assault in AZ and 3 on top for administering drugs.
His lic plate reads and I quote "NoMnsYes"![]()
I kinda amazed how this story has in a relative sense remained buried. I know Sharper is not currently active, but he is not that far from being a key piece of a Superbowl winning team and was employed by the NFLnetwork.More details here.Indicted on 2 more counts of sexual assault in AZ and 3 on top for administering drugs.

It's creepy how many people he has supposedly drugged --- enough to knock them out but not kill them or do serious harm. Like he's studied dosages or something.
In jail he's probably going to be known as Evil Chemist.
Pretty sure it is.Please tell me the license plate is a joke
Darren Sharper WILL NOT be released from jail today ... and a judge shot down his request for house arrest ... all because L.A. prosecutors got an assist from the Grand Canyon State. Sharper appeared in L.A. County Superior Court this morning ... and asked the judge to be released from his cell since prosecutors in New Orleans have still not made up their minds about charging Sharper with sexual assault.
FYI -- last week, the judge had said that if N.O. didn't charge, Sharper would be released on bail.
But that was before Arizona stepped in with its own charges ... and today in court, the judge said that since Darren was formally charged in AZ, she could NOT release him because the sexual assault charges in Arizona are "non-bondable."
Sharper's attorneys told the judge that they have an agreement with AZ prosecutors that Sharper will be allowed to turn himself in ... instead of being forcibly extradited ... but the judge didn't budge and ordered Darren to stay behind bars until the next hearing.
Sharper's team asked for Sharper to be released on house arrest -- but the judge rejected that as well.
The next hearing is set for March 24
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Renee Korn has again refused to release ex-NFL S Darren Sharper from jail.
Sharper is awaiting trial in L.A. after pleading not guilty to charges that he raped and drugged two women last year. His lawyers feel he should be released and placed under house arrest until he goes to trial. An April 15 hearing has been set. As we've mentioned numerous times, Sharper has sexual assault investigations pending in California, Arizona, Florida, Nevada, and Louisiana.

http://pro32.ap.org/article/officer-sharpers-dna-found-1-arizona-victimFormer NFL All-Pro safety Darren Sharper's DNA was found in an examination of one of two women who accuse him of drugging and sexually assaulting them at a Tempe apartment, a detective said Wednesday.
Tempe police Detective Kevin Mace said at a bail hearing in Phoenix that Sharper's DNA was recovered from one of the women's clothing, but none of his DNA was found during an exam of the other woman.
The detective's testimony came at a hearing in which Sharper's lawyers are challenging the evidence used to keep him in jail without bail.
The indictment alleges Sharper gave the sedative zolpidem to three women and then had "sexual intercourse or oral sexual contact" with two of them without their consent on Nov. 21 after a night of drinking at the apartment and at bars in nearby Scottsdale. One of the women told police she hadn't had any alcohol that night until Sharper insisted she drink a shot. Another young woman said she had been drugged, then went to bed, locked her door and wasn't attacked.
