THE NEWSCornerback Darrent Williams will likely miss the remainder of the regular season with a strained right groin, the Rocky Mountain News reports. The Denver Post is citing sources close to Williams as suggesting that he could miss up to six weeks with tears in the groin. The rookie has started nine games this season and appeared in 12. Our ViewWilliams has been an impact player for the Broncos, recording 54 tackles, two interceptions, and a sack as the starter opposite Champ Bailey, while also returning kicks. His presence will be missed on a defense that ranks 29th against the pass. Darn the luck. . He was a very reliable IDP who was a KR/PR. Time to go to the WW.
