Not sure if you notice FBG's adm. is trying to keep the posts as close as possible to the topic. Also not sure you notice Joe just gave a member here a vacation, best bet to keep the replies within the lines of the topic. There is a thread on posting non related to topic by Joe, can use report button so Mods can decide if not needed in thread, they will delete it then, this is only to improve the FBG's site to be rated the best in NFL forums (not meant to be a rule type forum).Donkey fan?Chief fan?Charger fan?Dolphin fan?I'm guessing Donkey fan.lucky week
My sit. exactly. Delhomme was questionable and Vince Young was on a bye week. In desperation I looked at the WW and happened to see Culpepper there. Dropped Delhomme, picked up and started Culpepper, became a happy man.NormGreat game by Culpepper. I think there were a lot of desperate QBBC teams like me that played him this week as a replacement for Grossman, Delhomme, Leinart, etc. For him to get 5 TDs (3 rushing) against the team that gave up on him is amazing. Thank you Culpepper.
3,2,1...TOUCHDOWN!!!!! Good call. 3x even. Can't wait until the first time this weekend when Culpepper is avoiding the Dolphin rush and inexplicably just drops the ball without anyone touching him. Seriously, it's happening in 3, 2, 1...
It was very fluid...but the coverage was terrible. Jerry Porter had a free pass all the way down the left sideline for 27 yards. Didn't make a single move.4th TDThat pass to Porter was a work of art.
I did the same thing, but I didn't drop Delhomme...why you do that?My sit. exactly. Delhomme was questionable and Vince Young was on a bye week. I didn't have anyone else on my roster I could let go, and the way our waiver wire has been working, I had a good feeling Delhomme would be there if I decide to take him back.I did the same thing, but I didn't drop Delhomme...why you do that?
I don't see why not. He gives the team everything McCown did and more.Rogi said:Is Culpepper the starter when McCown returns?
That is the question that will probably have Raider Nation sniping at each other for the next 2 weeks.Rogi said:Is Culpepper the starter when McCown returns?
DittoGlad I picked him up off waivers and played him over Bulger![]()
I dont see anything wrong with a guy getting pumped after a team got rid of him. I loved every aspect of it, even though it was a little drawn out. The Raiders need something like that and he delivered. Go with your roll C-PEP.I actually felt good for Culpepper...until he did his stupid arm roll celebration. Now I remember why I found him annoying. He won the game for the Raiders, but he only passed for 75 more yards than I did. You won't win many games that way. Showing off the knee when he scored as an "in your face" to Miami was pretty lame, too. OK, your knee's fine. Your arm-brain connection is still suspect. Crack 100 yards against a team who has won a game and then do your arm roll.
I dont see Walter running that in, and those two TDs to Porter were very nice. The first was a great timing pass and the second was drop in the basket. The running game won the game for them. All Culpepper did was hand off. Let's be realistic. He ran in 3 TD's that anyone on the team could have done. The Dolphins got carved up by Fargas of all people. 5 for 12 is weak #'s. Less than 50%. He did have 2 TD's.
You were wrong admit it...he is the best QB at the sneak and the play that impressed me was when he took off and turned the corner and dove in; he has a lot of mobility back. The running game won the game for them. All Culpepper did was hand off. Let's be realistic. He ran in 3 TD's that anyone on the team could have done. The Dolphins got carved up by Fargas of all people. 5 for 12 is weak #'s. Less than 50%. Except 2 TDs and no INTs and a W.Just admit it; he had a better game than most people expected, and looked like he could be a real option for the Raiders this year. Certainly he doesn't appear to be the turnover machine that the other two veterans on the roster are.He did nothing in the air...
He didn't have to. One of the most laughable attempts to stop the run in NFL history. Jordan up the middle, Jordan up the middle, Fargas up the middle, Fargas up the middle, Fargas up the middle.....Looked like a high school game. Unfortunately the Dolphins were the only that played like the teenagers. He did nothing in the air...
Based on Kiffin's short history with the team, don't expect to hear anything until a few days before the SD game.Any updates as to whether Culpepper is the starter?
agreed. what would be the point of announcing the starter now. better to waste sd's time by making them prepare for multiple contingencies. still, i sure hope it's c pep!Based on Kiffin's short history with the team, don't expect to hear anything until a few days before the SD game.Any updates as to whether Culpepper is the starter?
