My wife is rewatching Dawson's Creek for the millionth time and I happened to catch part of an episode where Pacey is sleeping with his teacher and it got me thinking - all these female teachers sleeping with their students these days is because they grew up watching this show.  That has to be it.  I'm a ### #### genius.

Funny theory, I like it. However, I am pretty sure this stuff has always gone on but just wasn't reported because:

a. people didn't care that much that it happened

b. people weren't being arrested

c. the media understood this wasn't actually news
