This dude was praised as the man to take over, however it just hasn't happened. Without bumping some old outdated thread, I was hoping to start a discussion on the RB situation in Carolina. Roster spots get frozen in our league after this weekend, so is he worth a spot if you already have Foster?

i just dont think he's very good...in the games Ive watched I havent seen him break any tackles and he seems to get taken down everytime someone can lay a finger on him...sure hes elusive but you cant always be elusive in the nfl

I cut him last week for Fargas and haven't looked back. I don't think he'll do much even if Foster was injured. Not sure what it is about him, I can't put my finger on it, but he doesn't have the 'it' factor. He can bust a long one, but struggles too much outside of the one long play he'll bust.

being the operative phrase here - you must have missed the Week 6 game in Arizona. While still second to Foster, DWill has skills and is a better receiver out of the backfield.

If Foster was to miss time for injury or fumbleitits, Williams would be the unquestioned stater.

They still have the following games where he might be a play as a Flex or RB3 under current conditions:

Week 10 - vs ATL

Week 12 - vs NO

Week 13 - vs SF

Week 15 - vs SEA

ALL home games

I am keeping him in the one league where I have him (with Foster - in other leagues I have just Foster) and there is NO league I play in where he is on the FA list FWIW

I'd agree with this. I watched that same game. Williams looked like he was the one running hard. Foster didn't look that way and I think had a fumble or two.
