Absolutely. There was a false start penalty (#84 I believe), then an incompletion. The pass was caught at about the 45 yard line and DeAngelo took it a few more yards before being tackled.

For people who looked at that thread in conjunction with the Frank Gore thread around draft time, their seasons could have been completely turned around 180 degrees based on one pick. Here I am all year updating it, and because one poster asks that it be locked, and one mod apparently dislikes the premise of the thread, it gets locked?



I'm all for it when Joe Bryant locks a thread on racism, or Shick! trounces someone for picking a fight on the board, but for a mod to loc a perfectly legitimate thread that includes tons of great offseason statistics and analysis and debate, that's just an enormous

If those threads are not allowed, then what are we here for?

I remeber that there was a similar thread about Travis Henry a few years ago where one guy (tommygunz if i remember correctly) said that he wouldn't be top 10 and it was debated all year.. Henry finished 11th or 12th and he proved to be right.. i was on the other side of the debate and enjoyed going back and forth

There are almost no similarities between the two besides they are both fast. DeAngelo has natural running instincts, is a good receiver, and is much more elusive. He is much more talented. Whenever he has been given more than a few carries, he has done well. For him, it is a matter of opportunity, and he will get one at some point.

His situation has been frustrating. I was upset when DeAngelo was taken the pick before mine in last years rookie draft. I ended up with LenDale White. It didn't look so great last year, but this year has been a different story.

This is true, which is why Fox should be fired. The only time Deshaun has ever looked good is when he WAS the offense at UCLA. What did he get, 40 carries a game?
