Robert Royal has been getting a TON of looks from all of the Buffalo QBs so far in camp. It sounds like he's especially getting looks down in the red zone. I keep reading that he is getting great separation running his routes and he seems to be catching everything thrown his way. Even though the QB situation is still dicey, I think that Royal could be a decent spot starter at TE.

How much does Jauron tend to use the TE? Is it a case of not having an effective one, or is it just not his offensive style?

In any case, I like the Royal call, as Evans seems to be a big play guy and may leave the middle of the field open for Royal. Plus, Losman probably is going to need a safety valve as he gets his feet wet.

Right now Everett is 3rd behind Royal and Neufeld. Everett has made some nice plays in camp from what I've heard, but hasn't been nearly consistent enough yet.

That's what I thought too. But the latest depth chart shows Neufeld 2nd, Everett 3rd and Cieslak 4th. Cieslak really wowed the coaches during OTAs, but hasn't shown much at all during camp. I think Neufeld is 2nd due to his blocking ability and veteran status.
