Demaryius Thomas Value with Welker in Town (1 Viewer)

Any chance DT out scores Megatron this year?
When you have the skills that thomas has an you play in a Peyton manning led offense anything is possible.

Calvin is still in a league of his own but I like thomas' chances to come very close to matching his production.

With all the weapons manning has at his dosposal now, exactly what o thoughy would happen happened.

te beginning of the game saw DT as a focal point of the ravens defense. Manning made them pay by using julius thomas, welker, and decker (and even Caldwell). Once the ravens defense tool note of this and eased up on their coverage on DT to address the other threats, manning started looking for DT.

At some point in every game, thomas will start seeing easier coverage and take advantage. And he has the skills to make every reception count.
#1 is very possible, but he also 'only' had 3/71/1 before the garbage time catches. Hard to say what his final numbers will be but if you're a DT owner you have to be very happy right now.
I was pretty happy with that 3/71/1 statline, and fell asleep in the 4th qtr, woke up a little after 1 AM to see them interviewing Peyton. Woke up this morning and very surprised to see DT's monster statline. I figured the Broncos were going to chew the clock. Did not expect any more scoring. If the Broncos continue to pour it on defenseless opponents, look out DT owners, the sky's the limit.

He had five catches, which seems a tad low? How many targets did he have tonight?
By maybe 1. If you expect Thomas to catch 85-90 passes, that aveages to about 5.3 to 5.6 receptions a game. Not sure what you expect.

He had 11 targets. As long as he's getting 8-13 targets a game, he's going to have a monster year. He can take any reception to the house, like last night.

It's not like DEN was throwing down the field after halfway into the 4th quarter. They were throwing short passes as if they were runs. It just happened Thomas took one to the house.

Went to bed at the beginning of the 4th pretty disappointed. Then I woke up :excited:

Started both Thomas' in one league.

@PFF tweeted: Most yards gained on WR Screens: Demaryius Thomas, Pierre Garcon, Cordarrelle Patterson, Eddie Royal, Golden Tate, A.J. Green

That tweet made me think of revisiting thread, a good learning opportunity.

Demaryius - 92 catches 1430 yards 14 TDs

Decker - 87 catches 1288 yards 11 TDs

Welker - 73 catches 778 yards 10 TDs (13 games)

Julius - 65 catches 788 yards 12 TDs (14 games)

Manning - 450 completions 569 attempts 5477 yard 50 TDs 10 INTs
