He caught it then flipped it backwards but I thought it was caught by another Denver player. It may have been at the players feet and he picked it off the ground. So that may have been considered a fumble.

Tamme was the one who got lateraled the ball last. It didn't look like he ever fully controlled it, he basically tried grabbing it with one hand as it was a bit high.
Still trying to see if this is the case...after watching the play, DT does toss the ball backwards to Tamme I believe. Tamme never gets control of the ball, although he juggles it a couple of times. Is it the last player who has control?

Yep, Thomas had the last lateral which was never controlled by another Bronco. It's the same as when a QB gets charged for a fumble when the rb drops a pitch.
