Probably heard this a million times:

Went to bed last night up by 2 points! Wake up this morning down 1.

Did thomas fumble the ball on the last play of the game yesterday? (I can't seem to find the replay online).

He caught it then flipped it backwards but I thought it was caught by another Denver player. It may have been at the players feet and he picked it off the ground. So that may have been considered a fumble.

Tamme was the one who got lateraled the ball last. It didn't look like he ever fully controlled it, he basically tried grabbing it with one hand as it was a bit high.

Lance Ball or Tamme should be charged with the fumble.
I agree, but on a play like that isn't the last guy to have control of the ball the one charged with the fumble?
Still trying to see if this is the case...after watching the play, DT does toss the ball backwards to Tamme I believe. Tamme never gets control of the ball, although he juggles it a couple of times. Is it the last player who has control?

Yes. Fumble always charged to last to possess.

Yep, Thomas had the last lateral which was never controlled by another Bronco. It's the same as when a QB gets charged for a fumble when the rb drops a pitch.

Perfect - thanks for the clarification on this. I'm in a close one and his negative points on this stupid play are killing me.
