Like, in a second term Reagan kind of way?Knee-jerk reaction:
Biden and Pete the only ones sounding presidential tonight.
Close calls for Booker, and occasionally Klobuchar.
eh, she's in the crosshairs. She's weathering it fine.Horrible night for Warren
Exactly. Existing workers will benefit from the BIG tooYang talks about all the loss of job to automation and Corey Booker suggest raising minimum wage. He doesn't get it... THE JOBS WILL BE GONE!!!!!
That bit about the coupons and stock brokersBiden just seems confused and fumbles his words consistently
No - more like in a Young Sinn Fein world view. When I was a kid - I was probably more politically aware than most kids - but my support was primarily based on how the candidates sounded on TV - because I knew I would have to listen to them for the next 4 years. So, tonight - the two that stand out as "sounding" presidential are Biden and Pete. (Nothing to do with the substance of what they say - though I think both have been fine on that).Like, in a second term Reagan kind of way?
I just turned it on and Joe sounded like drunk Uncle at Thanksgiving dinner - or did you mean Trump-like Presdential?Knee-jerk reaction:

IMO his delivery hasn't been good. His age is clearly showing in terms of focus, and these are artificially small bits of speaking. No - more like in a Young Sinn Fein world view. She's leading the polls. Gets the front runner treatment.Knives are out for Warren, they must see her as the real threat
It's like everyone on the stage is better than the front-runners. Besides Beto of courseYang (and to a lesser extent Pete) is why I have a hard time with the Democratic party. Both are long shots to get the nomination and instead they want an Warren or a Sanders.
Only because shes running against TrumpCan Warren win the Midwest states with these ideas? I’m skeptical.
Most people hate the rich, it'd be fine. Some voted for Trump because they somehow thought he was "their" rich guy who would know how to fight the other rich guys. Can Warren win the Midwest states with these ideas? I’m skeptical.
I don’t like her. I’d still vote for her (or anyone) over Trump, but in any other election id probably go with the other candidateCan Warren win the Midwest states with these ideas? I’m skeptical.
To be fair, Yang and Buttigieg are newcomers to a game that tilts heavily towards old-timers. Things are changing fast, if you ask me.Yang (and to a lesser extent Pete) is why I have a hard time with the Democratic party. Both are long shots to get the nomination and instead they want an Warren or a Sanders.
He looks the same as since he ran for the Texas Senate.Beto looks strung out. He's aged 10 years in the last 10 months.
I would go that far. You could eliminate half of them and they wouldn't be missed. It's like everyone on the stage is better than the front-runners. Besides Beto of course
from his site:Glad Yang cited what happened to other countries who implemented a wealth tax. Value added tax is an interesting idea.
No significant voter base is getting behind a wealth tax. America is a game show county where Joe Six Packs think they're a scratch off away from being rich and they conduct themselves accordingly against all logic. But I think people connect with a concept of fairness and to tax what people have already been taxed and paid for is suicide. Can Warren win the Midwest states with these ideas? I’m skeptical.
She is having a tough night. Can Warren win the Midwest states with these ideas? I’m skeptical.
One of us is high.Getting the very top to pay more and how the money is spent is the argument one of these people has to come up with the best answer for.
I don't know. I got to think enough of the middle /lower class has to look at wealth gap and think "huh this seems like it's a bit messed up" eventually. No significant voter base is getting behind a wealth tax. That and reducing our military spending are to me two obvious things we have to do but can’t ever seem to get traction.Getting the very top to pay more and how the money is spent is the argument one of these people has to come up with the best answer for.
Say it with me - the Centrist in you knows that Pete is the best candidate for you to support.I prefer Biden to the other 2 front runners by a whole lot, but even I can see how tired he seems. Even Bernie has more energy. Depressing.
