I started up in NG+ and through the Phalanx too just to spend the souls. I think I ended up around level 80 or so and total time was at like 22/23 hours. I don't forsee myself playing it again, but it was a fun experience.

I think I'm going to take up Dragon's Age next.

I might also take on Dark Souls again as a mage character since I was a tank my first playthrough. Eventually I'll get Dark Souls 2, but waiting until they (hopefully) release a game of the year addition with the DLC included.

Thanks BM. I'm with you on DSII. That's what I am waiting on. Price drop and a package deal somewhere down the road. I still have Metro: Last Light and Diablo III to get through. By the time I complete those, I imagine at the very least I'll be able to get a good deal on DSII.

Question though since you got back to Phalanx. When you started your NG+, were the dragons there on the bridge, the one that you have to cross to open the gate to get to the Phalanx Boss Battle? I expected everything to be reset. But oddly enough, no dragons at all. I just waltzed across the bridge, killing everything in sight.

I don't think so. I didn't go and look to see if they were over there, but the definitely didn't swoop in on the bridge in 1-1.

Odd. Don't get that. But no, they weren't perched either. I went over and cleaned that area out to see what I might have missed first play through. Also realized I missed the merchant in 1-1 in the area right before where you find the Dragons. Forgot all about him in my play through before.
