Denarius Moore (1 Viewer)

Greg Cosell is also high on him. Likes his size and overall game, one of his sleepers along with Hawaii's Salas

Saw him at the NFLPA game earlier this year and there is a lot to like about him.

He's got a good size/speed combination and is a fluid athlete who can gain separation on defensive backs. He has good ball tracking ability on deep passes, and seems to have an extra gear when running under a pass.

While not huge, he does know how to use his body to shield defenders away from the football, and can come down with contested catches.

Why didn't you just look him up? ;)

Now, I know that there are many, many knowledgeable members here who probably just didn't see your thread, and will give you the low down :) I didn't mean that in an offensive way...I just meant that in the time it took you to create this thread, and inevitably check on it a few times, you could have just looked up some scouting reports, and threads on other message boards, etc. to get your info.

A better thread may have been to look into him, get your info like I stated above, and then start with a question that creates debate: Like "Who Do You Like Better as a potential #1 WR, Denarius Moore or Greg Little?" or something like that. Then you'll get all kinds of responses, because others are getting something from the discussion/debate.

I've watched every game Denarious Moore has played at UT. He has great hands and can really stretch the field. One of the best long ball catchers that has come through here since Meachum. I really like his upside and speed. He is not a tall dominate type WR but he kinda reminds me of Mike Wallace. He was given a 3/4th round grade and I think that's a good spot for him. I'm not gonna pimp him that much, but at the right spot, he could be productive. Here is a snippet from his pro day.

Both wideout Denarius Moore and tight end Luke Stocker, who are expected to be the first Vols taken in next month's draft, bettered their 40 times from two weeks ago at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis. Moore was logged with a 4.37 and 4.38 while Stocker had a 4.71 and 4.74.

Stocker has a couple of individual workouts with teams next week, though he declined to name which franchises were bringing him in. Moore said he's been hearing primarily from seven teams, including the Saints, Jets, Giants, Ravens, Falcons and Dolphins. Moore also anticipates some individual workouts with teams in the weeks preceding the draft.

"They've said my workouts are real good," said Moore, who's represented by Knoxville-based A3 Athletics, the firm that also represents Eric Berry. "They like my speed, like my route-running."

Moore said he may train with the Volunteers' track team depending on the NFL's labor negotiations and impending lockout.
