Dennis Dixon - Refresh me (1 Viewer)

Need a little help here. How was Dennis Dixon rated before his injury this year?

I seem to recall him being highly rated, but I just can't really remember his pros and cons (arm strength - release point - etc ...)

I know he cut his INT's waaay down from previous years, but everything else is just fuzz in the brain.

Any help ?

I believe he's one of those guys who was a good natural athlete and who was outstanding as a college QB in a spread offense, but whose skills aren't going to translate well at the QB position in the NFL. IMHO he'll either languish on the bench like Seneca Wallace, or he'll move to WR like Randle El and others have done. I just don't see him as a factor in fantasy unless he switches positions.

I am just looking at possibly grabbing him late ... VERY late as a back-up to Ben (who I have on my roster).

I know he won't take Batch's job ... right now, but I am wondering if he has a legit shot in 2010. I don't need high Fantasy numbers as much as a protected butt at the QB slot.



ETA -

This is starting to sound like a coaches forum question ... but I am really just trying to find out if he would have been projected higher if the injury hadn't bit him. Sorry if it is going out of forum.
