Denver at New England (2 Viewers)

Denver should be embarrassed. How can you choke up a 24 pt lead to a Pats team that is clearly a shell of what once was. Peyton just can't win in Foxboro. Better hope he never comes back here for the playoffs.

Denver's not a shell? Both teams have injuries out the wazoo.

hahaha the guy on the NBC art team that designed the brady / manning comparison must absolutely despise manning by putting up all those sour#### shots of him while brady is smiling away.

One of these guys is a legit mvp candidate. The other got good stats throwing to stud wrs against weak competition in great weather.

Yeah but if I told one team came back from 24 down, I guarantee you'd guess it was the broncos with all their weapons.

I was wondering if they have different sets they would have used if the game situation was different

Over the past 50 years, teams are 5-484 when down 24+ at half.
And add to that against the best team in football. A Pats victory here was unfathomable at halftime. Quite possibly a once in 300 occurrence.
Actually it'd be a 6 in 485 occurence.
If you look at it purely in terms of points. When you add in the other factors (wind, up against the best team in football and one of the best QB's in history), I would say it's closer to once in a 300 occurrence. But what do I know. I'm just a lowly Acuary.

Well, honestly, people overreact both ways. I wouldn't have guessed the Pats would give up 24 unanswered, either. The Pats did it early. The Broncos did it late. Now the game's evened out and the last quarter is where the game will be decided.
