***Denver at San Diego MNF*** (1 Viewer)

So much for Moreno running roughshod over and through this SDC defense.

Not helped by bonehead plays, either.

This defense is teh suck. They talk and the talk and they talk about how they need to get off the field on 3rd down and they never do.

Pathetic.

I love the fact that McDaniels finally realized that Scheffler exists over the last two weeks. He's a weapon.

Get ready for the Scheffler is he a start threads....this offense finds the spot to exploit and goes at it.-last week it was Royal..Scheffler could go 3 weeks without a catch and then we will see the disgruntled owners come out.

Moreno to slow trying to get to the corner on that one. He's already breaking down. He was twice as fast in college. Maybe the NFL equipment is getting heavier!

For someone who is supposed to be slow, that was quite the stiff arm by LT.
Please tell me that was a joke.
Nope, it was on the first run. Didn't see a replay from a different angle, so it may not have been that good of one. But it appeared to be a good one.
I agree it was a good stiffarm, I just don't know what that has to do with him being slow. That's like saying "for a guy who likes hot dogs he sure can do math!"

Need a TD here. As good as Denver defense has been, outside of the first quarter, Rivers is too good in the clutch. Need as big a lead as possible!

Oh, thought you were referring to the stiff arm part. The slow part was based on the "OMG he's lost a step!!!!!" comments in this thread. Wasn't trying to take sides on that debate.

So far:

Tomlinson - 4 yds/carry

Moreno - 2.6 yds/carry

Bucky - 3.1 yds/carry

Sprolly - 1 for 0 yds

I would assume that eating a lot of hot dogs and be successful in mathematics would be negatively correlated, making your statement an appropriate one to acknowledge.

First time in NFL history that both teams has a punt return for a TD, and a team has a kickoff for a TD.

With the Chargers ready for the kickoff, (and nursing a lead, going against the Charger D/ST), I'm hoping we're not really looking at history now.

<Edit to add> Cora's Grandma (aka me) got kicked out of the bedroom...for yelling so much and making Cora (she turns one on Halloween) cry.

All of this talk has me hungry for PI.

anyone notice how after every Marshall reception, Stokeley comes over to calm him down? It's as if it's his job to keep Marshall from doing something stupid like kicking the football or whipping out some Obama gloves or something.

I was wondering what was missing from this thread! Here, one on me: :lmao:
:lmao: Elvis Dumervil is a monster wrapped in a beast, battered in a demon, fried in an ogre, sprinkled with boogeyman, and served over a bed of troll. I seriously cannot understand how he lasted until the 4th. He was the most prolific pass rusher in NCAA history (breaking Terrell Suggs' single-season sack record), but because he was "too short" (too short for what? Obviously he wasn't too short to rush the passer...) he fell in the draft until the Broncos took him and, hey, guess what, it turned out he was pretty good at rushing the passer. Who'da thunk it?He just got sack #10 on the season while I was typing this.

Still cannot believe how good this Denver 'D' is this year.

Still nervous, though, as Rivers is so clutch at the end of games...
