No real surprise here in my opinion.

From RotoWorld:

Tatum Bell will start at tailback again in Week 2.

"We will start Tatum and rotate the series and if someone gets a hot hand we will go in that direction," coach Mike Shanahan said. He has a good matchup against the soft Chiefs rush defense.

All in all, not bad news for Tatum owners who got him in the later rounds.

I understand everyones concern about the Denver RB's. I feel for anyone that owns one of the Bells, but you have to understand that this is going to be like this most of the year. Every week Shanny is going to say the same thing. Lets just have one thread that says Bell starts this week for Denver.

You shouldn't feel bad for anything. I drafted them on purpose and I am happy with it.

doesn't matter who starts anyway. I learned the hard way removeing M. Bell from 3 line-ups last minute yesterday. Won;t happen again asumeing he is healthy to play week 2. Denver can support 3 RB'S a week if necessary. Just the system. Don;t waste your time worrying about which Bell to play. Both make great RB 3'S in leagues that allow 3 to start. Both are border line rb 2 s in leagues that only allow 2 to play. I don't expect much variance from yesterday the rest of the year. Both will get fantasy points as long as healthy.

Good update. Thank you.

 I drafted T.Bell knowing full well he could be the backup but I saw no reason to believe he'd be worse than he was last season. And last season he was no worse than a RB3 for the majority of the season with RB2 upside. As long as he's healthy he'll be a fixture in my starting lineup until his performance gives me reason to re-consider that decision. The two Bells can rotate series all season long; as far as I'm concerned that's good news for both Bells and their fantasy owners.

Didnt Mike Bell hurt his finger during the game? Dunno if i would want to play him if Im Shanny. Fumbles will not go over well.

(KFFL) Jeff Legwold, of the Rocky Mountain News, reports Denver Broncos RB Mike Bell (finger) dislocated his right middle finger Week 1, and could be facing surgery.

Yeah, i would like to know if Cobbs will see a good portion of the carries if MB is unable to play. He's sitting on my WW staring me down

I would start either one as a RB3 or FLEX, with the current Denver rotation.

They're both going to see their share of carries and scoring opportunities.

The only way you may be screwed is if you drafted Tatum or Mike as a RB2 or even a RB1.

Tatum fumbled in the game, though.I'm just waiting for them to trade for Chris Brown, even still.

Tatum dropped and lost the rock against the Rams. He continued to get carries. Mike injured his finger on his second carry. Afterward had 4 catches and a TD.
