You probably can't trade Ward now - as his perceived value will be way too low. Basically, everyone wants to see two things:1) How the RB workload breakdown is going to work in Giantland. Then you'll have some idea of his value going forward. (And what this breakdown will be is very subjective. Some will say Jacobs is still the starter as he earned it in TC and Preseason - other will counter that Ward has proved he should be the starter given 4 regular season games of solid production.)2) Who can stay healthy.Personally, I would hold on to Ward at this point:He's in the top 10 in the NFL in rushing yards - 6th in receiving yards for RBs - and depending on your scoring right around RB12 (near McGahee) in fantasy points. There is no way you are going to get that kind of value for him this week - or probably in the next few weeks. Will he continue to produce those #'s? Not in the short term, as Jacobs will at the very least take some of those touches away. Given the above production, I would not be suprised to see Jacobs only get 25%-35% of the carries. But again, how that will shake out, remains to be seen and many owners will be afraid to trade for Ward, as the possibility that Jacobs will see more and likely goal line carries looms to large.IMHO, I think his value is lowest now - and lower now than it will be in the coming weeks. As I said, I can very easily see a situation whereby Ward get 65%-75% of the carries and 3rd down work. As such he would still be good for about 70+ rushing yards and 25 receiving yards per game. He's only had 1 TD so far anyway. My point is, his numbers will likely dip - but only slightly, making him a viable RB2 given a good matchup - an RB3/bye week fill in at worst. All of this is barring injury to him and Jacobs (which I think would make Ward a borderline RB1 in PPR leagues and a solid RB2 otherwise)
