Just won by 2 points because my opponent was unfortunate enough to have started Jackson, only to watch him take a dump on the 1 yard line. What a moron. You have to give Andy Reid credit for resisting the urge to physically assault Mudbutt Jackson on the sideline. Quite an accomplishment.

Yah he shat the bed for 6/110. What a bad week.And Reid should thank god he finally drafted a good WR. Jackson is already better then every WR the Eagles have. Big game, monday night, he made a mistake. Doesn't take away the fact he burned the Dallas secondary and was about 15 yards past them when he caught the ball.

Lewis, Avant, LJ Smith, Baskett, they were all AWFUL.

Which is easy to do. Right now, Jackson looks like a top 20 WR in the NFL. He's already among the Holmes/Cotchery/Evans group.

How was this play challenged? I really didn't think at the time it could be and still don't. Ball goes to the Eagles at the 1 yard line? Seems made up, why the 1? the ball wasn't recovered by either team, nor did it go out of bounds.

Guess it could be in the rule book, I don't know, I'm no ref. But I have never seen a ruling like that on a fumble after a play is blown dead and a ball wasn't recovered by a team or went out of bounds.

That was my initial thought as well. When there is no fumble called on the field, I didn't think replay could call one...which was the whole reason for the emphasis a couple of years ago for refs to let any play that looked like it might be a fumble to play through. That way, replay could sort it out and reverse an erroneous fumble call but if it did turn out to be a fumble, the teams would have played it through and established who recovered.I think this ruling actually came from the TD rules instead. There was conclusive proof he failed to cross the goal line with the ball - which is reviewable. I think since he didn't cross the goal line with the ball, but no fumble was called on the field, they spot it where he stopped advancing the ball and give it to Philly since there was no change in posession.

I love Desean Jackson, I am buying his jersey, especially if the win I sqeaked out this week makes a difference. I think he should continue doing this for the rest of the year, I would also like to thank Andy Reid for his good coaching of giving westbrook the damn rock!

That wasn't my read at all. As far as TD celebrations go...his (premature) celebration was pretty subdued, and he appeared embarassed by it.I've been VERY impressed by this kid, and he has exceeded expectations.

That said, if I'm a redraft owner, I'm looking to sell high before Brown and Curtis return. He put up great numbers, but he also had two key drops in that game on good balls when he was open. Both drops ended drives. He will retain value all year, but not like it is right now.

Thank you DeSean. I've had you on the bench in my Dynasty League but that will soon change.

In my $$ league, my opponent was down by 64 pts going into Monday Night but he had Romo, DeSean and Folk to go. They ended by netting him 62 pts, would have been 68 had DeSean preserved his first MNF TD.

p.s. As a Westbrook owner in another league which awards the final wild card slot based upon total points, I also doubly thank you

It was a boneheaded mistake...but a rookie mistake that had zero impact on the real game. Was he supposed to break down and cry?I'm far more concerned about his third down drop wide open in the RZ later. Philly settle for 3...and lost by 4. He bobbled more then one pass last night. As electric as his performance has been to this point, he was obviously experiancing some rookie jitters...and the ONLY way to beat that is to stay lose and try to have fun.

Apparently DeSean will need 2 games. Of over 100 yards each game. Where he's the focal point of the DBs and the 3rd player the D keys on. My point is simply that the kid has a right to be excited. He's playing better than any rookie WR ever has. He was about to score his first TD and made himself look like an idiot. How he rebounds from that play will speak more to his maturity than the play itself.

And yes, I'm a fan and owner.
