I see Kevin Jones being the starter very soon. Tatum Bell is in the mix. But Duckett has 33 career TDs, he's 254 lbs and he's only 26. He had 3 red zone plays in week 1 which is his rushing total before he got injured. Now that he's healthy is he still the goaline back?

Jones has served as the goal line back the last two weeks, and scored two TDs. Duckett probably gets some of those carries, but the healthier Jones gets the more worthless Duckett and Bell become.
I think turkishkamel, Anthony and Chaser have it about right. I really think the coaching staff believes Jones can be the every-down guy in this offense once he gets into game shape. Acquiring Duckett and Bell, imho, was more the staff hedging its bet against Jones' health. One of the team's biggest problems last year was depth at that position and I think Bell and Duckett were brought in to remedy that as much as for any other reason. I'm not saying they won't have a role once KJ gets up to speed, but I have a feeling any role Bell and/or Duckett have won't be real consistent or easy to predict from week to week. This is all, of course, contingent upon KJ staying healthy. :knockswood:
