Anyone have any idea how the LB's for Detroit will play out this year? Granted Sims is a beast, but what about the others?Lenon, Bailey, Lehman, Lewis, Cannon, B.Davis?
Bailey and Lehman probably gone, kind of sad as those guys were thought of as up and comers when I started down the IDP path.Simms is at WLB and Lenon is being moved to SLB supposedly, which leaves the middle for a free agent (Al Wilson there last week) or a draft pick.

So I assume this greatly diminishes Lenon's value? I had him on a 1yr contract in the RFA process. I was considering resigning him, but wanted to see how FA plays out. If he is likely to move to SLB, though....
The Lions had the league's highest tackle opportunity number last year -- the highest in four seasons and significantly outside a standard deviation. Sims made 96 solo tackles, which is nice, but I'm still not sold he's an impact defender in the box scores. Vilma definitely cuts into that some. Like Willis' 137 solo effort last year, Vilma's 2005 stat line likely wouldn't have been sustainable either. Vilma should have LB1 upside here, but I wouldn't be comfortable projecting him to have a huge year until we hear what his injury was and how his recovery has gone.
