Griese for a 4th is an outright steal.

Colin
I wish SD would go into next season with Griese and Rivers, saving a TON of cap space assuming they'd actually use that $ on CB and OT.
Griese's current contract isn't nearly as cheap as you think. IIRC< he's 6 mil against the cap this coming season.COlin

Which is why he probably will not stay on the TB roster

I strongly disagree with you.  I think that a persons stats have a lot to do with the team that they are playing for.  Griese has played for FAR better teams than Joey has.
Agree to a point which is why I left out the W/L stats because Griese has been surrounded by more talent(especially on defense) and better coaching.... BUT those stats aren't just a little different. Grieses has played MUCH better than Joey by a large margin. I'm sure Joey would have looked better for DEN and TB but not by that wide a margin. Joey has also had some talented players on offense around him for a couple of seasons now and I haven't seen much improvement.
Those teams were MUCH MUCH better. Heck, Denver even makes Jake Plummer look good. As for this "talent" around Joey ... um Scotty Vines was a starting WR  Kevin Jones has been hurt a lot. Roy has been hurt a lot. Look at the people that have played the last few years.

Scotty Vines, Az-zahir Hakim, Eddie Drumond, Tai Streets. :yucky: :yucky: :yucky:
