GAME NOTES
-- Miguel Cabrera is not in the starting lineup today after he aggravated his right ankle injury Saturday night in the second game of a doubleheader against the White Sox. Manager Brad Ausmus said Sunday morning that Cabrera remains day-to-day.
-- Rick Porcello has been very good this season. But he's been substantially better on the road than he has been at home. Porcello is 9-4 with a 2.41 ERA and a 1.062 WHIP in 15 games (14 starts) away from Comerica Park this season.
-- Porcello has a 2.33 ERA and a 0.981 WHIP in 54 innings pitched since the All-Star break regardless of whether he is at home or on the road.
-- A day after the White Sox traded outfielder Alejandro De Aza to the Baltimore Orioles, they made yet another trade. The White Sox sent designated hitter/first baseman Adam Dunn to the Oakland Athletics in a trade Sunday morning.
-- The forecast for Chicago calls for partly cloudy skies and highs around 80 degrees with no chance of rain. A few days ago, it looked as if rain might affect all four games in the series, but here we are.
