DETROIT WINS TODAY (1 Viewer)

Haha,,,I love it....started Calvin Johnson in our schools administration league...I have no gut feeling..it is the Lions for goodness sakes....LOL...but I started him just due to the fact it will make the game somewhat enjoyable to watch...or at least make it interesting....because there are a ton of good college basketball gmaes on at the same time. :lmao:

If I had a 50 to put on it I would say TN 44-3, 2-3 TD's by LenWhale White, and an appearance by Drew Henson.

As a football fan I also enjoy a good Turkey Day slaughter, would prefer either a great game or total wipeout with lots of scoring by TN as Lions fans gnash their teeth, nothing in between.

BUT as a FF player, & as my opponent in FF has the TN DST while we both fight for a playoff spot, I am hoping that CPep lights TN up with two early deep TD strikes to Calvin and then they figure out how to hold a lead for a change while Kerry Collins turns back into Whiskey Collins like when he lived on Bourbon Street back in the day.

For the heck of it, I looked it up, Detroit is a decent, dead even 33-33-2 on Thanksgiving Day. But they have also lost 4 straight and 6 of the last 7.

Thanksgiving magic.

The Lions have lost 4 T-days in a row by the following scores:

37-26

27-10

27-7

41-9

Their longest losing streak on T-Day is 5

They have lost 4 in a row one other time

If The Titans weren't such a good rushing team and The Lions so bad at stopping the rush I'd give them a chance. But I just can't see it.

I'm starting Kevin Smith in my playoff game just so I can have someone to root for. Hopefully Detroit stays in the game long enough and doesn't abandon the run early.

i guess it's possible, but very unlikely (obviously)

I'm looking forward to CJ21's stats if Dante plays the whole game. Should be exciting if they can hook up on a few deep ones. Garbage time is the best time to do fantasy damage

The only Thanksgiving day magic I remember in the last 8 years was when McMahon cam in the game late to end up covering he spread against GB out of nowhere. No I'm not bitter

I ####### just missed getting into my sportsbook in time to bet on this game. Was like free money.
