Deuce Lutui Weighs in at 396 (1 Viewer)

I think OT Aaron Gibson tipped the scales at 400+ when he played for the Lions. Obviously, bigger wasn't better...........

how much has pat williams been at his heaviest... probably less than four bills, but maybe north of 350?

i remember whatever his listed weight was at the time was pretty laughable...

in his case, whatever weight he is, he carried it well (multiple pro bowler?)...

* what was terrence cody at his heaviest at alabama (i also think 350+, but probably sub-400)...

** nate newton was notorious for ballooning up in the offseason (i think maybe close to 400 lbs.?)... madden (not exactly jack lalanne, himself) used to talk about how this wasn't ideal for overall health...

*** BUF/WAS OL mike williams i think ate himself out of the league... in order to return, and get down to 343 at one point last year, he had to lose 107 lbs.

I bet Casey Hampton has been close at times. I feel certain there have been players going at 400+ even if they were never listed as such.

Ted Washington in the offseason almost certainly. Cody will be at some point due to the 6'5 frame. He'll never hold it down to 350ish.

leonard davis is a big dude

wiki mentioned this - "Dave Morris of the Cincinnati Bengals weighed 394lbs. at the start of the 2004 season and was a mere 5'11" tall..."

reminds me of howie long calling great nebraska and CIN center dave remington (sp?) a freakin bridge troll... :goodposting:

How big was Gilbert brown?
I am fairly certain no matter what his listed weight was that he played at times at over 400. Seems like there were stories about his most effective size being around 340-350, but that he had hell staying that small.

There's some unofficial talk that Maake Kemoteau of the Redskins is currently at 380-390. He says otherwise.

Lots of good ones in here....Fonoti, Gibson, and Ted Washington were the first three that came to mind for me. Perhaps Mike Williams (Redskins OT) at the end of his run in Buffalo.
