Devin Aromashodus Value (1 Viewer)

He was the wrong type of player for a Mike Martz offense. From what I have read he is finished with the Bears and I intend to keep an eye on where he lands after this. He probably won't make an impact elsewhere, but I am not ready to completely write him off yet.
Miami cut him, the Colts cut him. Now the Bears.Cutler minus Martz created the only FF value he has ever shown.I'm not optimistic at al that a perfect storm will happen for him at this point.

It doesn't have to be a perfect storm. Some players take a while before they get it and he may be one of those. It did seem to all come together for him at the end of the 2009 season (I remember seeing the Week 16 game against the Vikings and was stunned how good he looked in that game, where he put up 7 catches for 150 yards and a TD). He was a fish out of water with Martz, and what he did (or did not do) there is not conclusive of anything IMO. Again I am not predicting great things for him, but I could see him making his mark on another team if he gets a few breaks.

You could be right. He may pull off a Lloyd-type resurrection.

Though seems like the hope for him are pinned on just a couple of good games.

Can't help but think if he worth something the Colts wouldn't have let him go.
