Where is brandon loyyd on this list?

I wouldn't want him to be my WR1 as I don't see him being as consistent as others in the top 10, but he will probably finish top 15 or so.

IMO, Green has been and will continue to be better than DB, and the gap will widen.
Thats really debatable and Apples to Oranges imo. I'd throw Julio in this conversation as well but its really hard to rank these guys dynasty wise as I think all three are top 10 locks going forward(i love their situations as well)

Geez.... I voted a WR #3. I thought he's playing pretty poorly. I think he's about the most overrated WR in fantasy right now.

Looked it up and he's the #25 WR in PPR in total points at this point. (I didn't look at fantasy ppg.)

He played through an injury for multiple weeks. Great analysis.

He sat out a week, too. He's also trending upward, as Romo has begun throwing to him in the second half, rather than to the other team. If anything, he's underrated at this point.

Miles Austin missed time too, and that didn't help him. He disappeared in the second half of multiple games. He can't and won't stay healthy. He's #3 in the receiving pecking order. He's overrated as is your worthless response.

Actually your posts have been nothing but worthless. Makes me think you're either 1. Biased against him or 2. Haven't been following him this year. Using a total points ranking for him when he's had his bye week when many haven't, and missed another week due to injury, and has played through injury through multiple weeks he DID play is a terrible analysis. Points you're ignoring:Romo looking more confident and trying to get the ball to Dez (obviously the #1 option last week over Austin)Dez coming off a bye-week and looking healthyCowboys coming off a big blow-out win desperately needed to up their confidenceCowboys finally finding a running gameHis WORST week was 4/63 this season (Playing Injured)Dez has top 10 talent and teams CAN'T focus on him because of Witten/Austin

:goodposting: I'm abstaining from voting because I don't think he's for sure a #1, but I don't think he's as low as a #2. Need a boarderline 1 option.

More good stuff. He got the thigh injury on a punt return. Jerry Jones doesn't want him returning punts anymore because he refuses to go down and that's what makes him injury prone; people getting free shots at him while he's wrapped up and scrapping for the extra yard. I'd be curious to see where you got your information about him being #3 in the receiving pecking order, because last week, his first healthy, he was first. The prior week, he was second. Sure, while he was injured, Laurent Robinson was getting all the targets. I think it's safe to say they like him more than Laurent Robinson, so that tells you a little something about his injury. Even if that is the case, does that mean he won't produce in that offense? As for "disappearing in the second half of multiple games" he was targeted only 10 times in the second half in the four games he played prior to last week. And of course, Sunday, he had four targets in the second half and caught them all en route to a 20 point game. In the games he's played in he's scored 16, 10, 19, 12 and 20 in my PPR league, all while dealing with the thigh injury up, which he's apparently now healed from. Can't wait to see what happens once he becomes #1 or #2 in the pecking order. He's a big physical guy, with speed, an ability to create space off the line, good hands, is very passionate, and has a great QB throwing to him in an offense that is now looking to get him the ball. The Jets thought enough of him in the opening game to put Revis on him on all but the first drive, when he ate them alive, AND to give Revis help with the safeties. Bart Scott called him the best player on the Cowboys. I'm pretty happy to have him rostered, especially now that he's healthy and Jones is likely to pull the plug on him returning punts.

I don't disagree with this sentiment today. However, I think Dez is eons better than he's been performing. He was a beast and earned the TO comparisons in college and is still quite an athlete compared to some of the other WRs, yet his play is more toward ordinary than exceptional. I feel like I can see Green's going to be a special player already. I'm expecting some game with huge stats to unleash the real Dez on the NFL figuring it's confidence more than anything else.

I don't want to entertain any Revis shutdown thoughts with a young WR (or a young QB). I'd rather encourage a battle like Andre versus Finnegan.

Just give him some more time. He's 22 years old and has some immaturity issues that hopefully he grows out of. And chemistry with Romo can only get better. Have to have a little patience with him. If I was trying to win a title this year, I'd rather depend on a veteran, but I think the next couple years, we'll start to see that consistency.

As an owner of both Dez and AJ, I think I prefer AJ. He's just a lot less likely to show up suspended for something stupid. His play is also better so far.

Okay first of all, Dez's behavioral issues aren't "suspension" type of issues. I really think he's surrounded by good guys in the locker room and Irvin has made such an investment in Dez that I don't really see suspensions to be a problem. He's not some druggy that gets in trouble with the law. His "behavioral issues" will come with some stupid penalties here and there b/c he gets so into the game at times. That guy is super intense. But unnecessary roughness or unsportsmanlike conduct penalties hold no bearing on fantasy.

What concerns me more is his situation. Dez, at the moment, isn't really a threat to be a 15 target per game guy. If Miles or Witten got hurt/retire, or when Dez finally develops his route running to be on par with Miles Austin's, then yea things will probably change. Also, Kitna was the type of QB to lock on his guy and his guy was clearly Dez. But Romo spreads the ball around and has a lot of targets. He'll never force feed someone the ball. He's not like Dalton or Newton, locking in on their number one. With that said...

I'd probably place him around 12-13... ranking like so

1) Welker

2) Calvin

3) Wallace

4) Steve Smith

5) Andre

6) Bowe

7) Nicks

8) Jennings

9) Maclin

10) Green

11) White

12) Dez... maybe Colston though he hasn't been back long enough to see if this production continues.

Past that it all gets very situational. I voted WR2 as there was no Low End WR1 - High End WR2 option. Which is where I'd like to play my real vote at... I actually had Dez from my draft and traded him away after that Week 1 quick score he had. Traded him for White + Starks (back when Starks was looking to take over the starting job 100%). Since then? Well it wasn't the worst trade but didn't really work out either. I'm still in the belief that White is going to see an increase in production as Atlanta is slowly turning it around it seems. So yea... Borderline WR1 but not quite proven though yet.

Does anyone else notice that Dez doesn't wear thigh pads! No wonder he suffered a bruised thigh.
