So, Dez looks healthy and has been putting up the best receiving numbers for the Cowboys over the past few weeks. Is he a WR1 moving forward?
Using your list, I'd probably break them up like this:WelkerIf people answer Yes to being a WR1, who does he outperform assuming 12 team leagues? Please state which 10 of these 21 guys he replaces to be top 12. Thanks and good luck!

Looks like a low-end WR1 to me.
Actually, yeah, I would put AJ Green ahead of Bryant and have Bryant #9 or so.IMO, Green has been and will continue to be better than DB, and the gap will widen.
Thats really debatable and Apples to Oranges imo. I'd throw Julio in this conversation as well but its really hard to rank these guys dynasty wise as I think all three are top 10 locks going forward(i love their situations as well)IMO, Green has been and will continue to be better than DB, and the gap will widen.
He played through an injury for multiple weeks. Great analysis.Geez.... I voted a WR #3. I thought he's playing pretty poorly. I think he's about the most overrated WR in fantasy right now. Looked it up and he's the #25 WR in PPR in total points at this point. (I didn't look at fantasy ppg.)
He sat out a week, too. He's also trending upward, as Romo has begun throwing to him in the second half, rather than to the other team. If anything, he's underrated at this point. He played through an injury for multiple weeks. Great analysis.Geez.... I voted a WR #3. I thought he's playing pretty poorly. Miles Austin missed time too, and that didn't help him. He disappeared in the second half of multiple games. He can't and won't stay healthy. He's #3 in the receiving pecking order. He's overrated as is your worthless response. He played through an injury for multiple weeks. Great analysis.Geez.... I voted a WR #3. I thought he's playing pretty poorly. Actually your posts have been nothing but worthless. Makes me think you're either 1. Biased against him or 2. Haven't been following him this year. Using a total points ranking for him when he's had his bye week when many haven't, and missed another week due to injury, and has played through injury through multiple weeks he DID play is a terrible analysis. Points you're ignoring:Romo looking more confident and trying to get the ball to Dez (obviously the #1 option last week over Austin)Dez coming off a bye-week and looking healthyCowboys coming off a big blow-out win desperately needed to up their confidenceCowboys finally finding a running gameHis WORST week was 4/63 this season (Playing Injured)Dez has top 10 talent and teams CAN'T focus on him because of Witten/AustinMiles Austin missed time too, and that didn't help him. More good stuff. He got the thigh injury on a punt return. Jerry Jones doesn't want him returning punts anymore because he refuses to go down and that's what makes him injury prone; people getting free shots at him while he's wrapped up and scrapping for the extra yard. I'd be curious to see where you got your information about him being #3 in the receiving pecking order, because last week, his first healthy, he was first. The prior week, he was second. Sure, while he was injured, Laurent Robinson was getting all the targets. I think it's safe to say they like him more than Laurent Robinson, so that tells you a little something about his injury. Even if that is the case, does that mean he won't produce in that offense? As for "disappearing in the second half of multiple games" he was targeted only 10 times in the second half in the four games he played prior to last week. And of course, Sunday, he had four targets in the second half and caught them all en route to a 20 point game. In the games he's played in he's scored 16, 10, 19, 12 and 20 in my PPR league, all while dealing with the thigh injury up, which he's apparently now healed from. Can't wait to see what happens once he becomes #1 or #2 in the pecking order. He's a big physical guy, with speed, an ability to create space off the line, good hands, is very passionate, and has a great QB throwing to him in an offense that is now looking to get him the ball. The Jets thought enough of him in the opening game to put Revis on him on all but the first drive, when he ate them alive, AND to give Revis help with the safeties. Bart Scott called him the best player on the Cowboys. I'm pretty happy to have him rostered, especially now that he's healthy and Jones is likely to pull the plug on him returning punts.Miles Austin missed time too, and that didn't help him. I don't disagree with this sentiment today. However, I think Dez is eons better than he's been performing. He was a beast and earned the TO comparisons in college and is still quite an athlete compared to some of the other WRs, yet his play is more toward ordinary than exceptional. I feel like I can see Green's going to be a special player already. I'm expecting some game with huge stats to unleash the real Dez on the NFL figuring it's confidence more than anything else.IMO, Green has been and will continue to be better than DB, and the gap will widen.
Just give him some more time. He's 22 years old and has some immaturity issues that hopefully he grows out of. And chemistry with Romo can only get better. Have to have a little patience with him. If I was trying to win a title this year, I'd rather depend on a veteran, but I think the next couple years, we'll start to see that consistency.'Bri said:I don't disagree with this sentiment today.
