So I've been buying movies on Amazon for years. I can stream them whenever I want, but I like to have some downloaded on my hard drive and watch them offline. They set it up so that you can only watch them on their proprietary video device called "Unbox". If I try to play them in any other player, I just see a silent scrambled mess.
I haven't used Unbox in a while but tried to today and Unbox won't even start. I look around on the internet and it seems like Unbox has been quietly discontinued and Amazon has not offered a replacement. They not only discontinued support for the Unvox video player, the BROKE the Unbox player so that it won't start. So I am stuck with a bunch of movies on my hard drive that I bought and now cannot watch legally? Or is there a new legal way to watch them? Anyone know?
