For most of us this week was the most important week of the year for fantasy football.

In my main league I was down 103.52 to 103.47. Less then 2 minutes left on the clock monday night and then it happened. Brees took his first knee and I go up 103.47 to 103.42! I was just wondering if this happened to anyone else?

I would literally be sick. I don't care if the yard could have been accounted for in any number of ways prior to the MNF game, but to lose by a yard - in that way, where you have to watch it happen - would be devastating. I'd like to think that if it was me, I'd offer my opponent some extra dough beyond his 2nd place finish so I don't get hit by a bus the next day or something. Karma is a #####.

Statistically, this is just stupid. Kneel downs at the end of games should not count as negative rushing yards. One way to combat that is to simply offer +1 point if your QB wins his game.

Really? If it were me, I'd call him and tell him that I felt bad and wanted to send him something to make it up to him. I'd then get his address and mail a 2 foot by 3 foot framed picture of brees taking the second knee to him. On second thought, I might give it to him at the draft next year if it's a live draft...

I agree with this being stupid, but that the nfl statisticians.

I hope you get hit by a bus.

How would that matter? What if the OP was trailing leading by 0.9 points?edit: :goodposting:

Brees killed me last year - by week 16 he was not posting numbers like he did earlier in the season. they were running much more and I think by week 16 he may have only played one half. I tried not to rely on one QB or one Defense this year. So far so good.....if McCoy scores less than 25 points I win the SB. The guy I am currently beating has Brees.

In my league you would not have won even though we use decimal scoring too.

The rules in my league are as follows if a player has 0 yards rushing he would get 0 pts.

If he finishes the game with negative yards rushing like Brees did at -2 yards rushing he would have still got 0 pts

If Brees had 4 yards rushing then lost 2 yards on those plays then you would have actually lost the .2 pts but with him going into negative in my league it just is a flat 0 for rushing yards.

I would say this is the exact reason I put the scoring rules like that.
