Did Yahoo change their tie-breaker rule this year? (1 Viewer)

Sorry if this has already been discussed, I searched and didn't see anything...This is from Yahoo's rules page:

If, at the end of the season, two or more players finish with the same overall record, the following system will be used to break the tie:Overall winning percentage. Fantasy points scored. Fantasy points scored in Week 17. Fantasy points scored in Week 16. Fantasy points scored in Week 15.(etc...)
Now I could have sworn that in past years, the first tie-breaker was head-to-head. It came into play if and only if there were two teams tied -- a three-way tie or more went straight to points scored.I didn't clue into this until I noticed that it being factored into my league's standings. Not a big deal, and I certainly don't expect Yahoo to publicize every minor rule change, but this may be worth thinking about if you have a Yahoo-based league and your owners are expecting head-to-head to come into play.

I believe Yahoo has always done it this way. That's why you see teams ranked first by record and then by points scored.

it's been this way for the six years I've been on Yahoo.

W/L and then points. I wouldn't want H2H to come before points when H2H only reflects a small weekly sample size of my teams performance unlike total points.

I definitely remember sending out e-mails to my league each year spelling out the tie-break scenarios, including that head-to-head was factored in.

So either it changed this year... or I've been wrong all along, and was just lucky that it never actually came into play.
