Never was hyped very hard.Boston hype machine is a myth at this point. Players hyped in Boston end up being pretty good players. Papelbon? Hanley? Youkilis? How did they turn out? Too early to say on Lester, Ellsbury and Buchholz but I think they will all live up to the hype too.
