Woohoo!!! Pretty cool to be leading after the first day and after the last day. But more importantly, of course, after the last day.

Jeff, I sent you a reply with my info. Sorry it took so long, but I was out of the country and had limited internet access. I was enjoying Carnaval in Barranquilla, Colombia, and actually watched the game at a bar down there. There was a pretty good crowd and it seemed to be mostly Giants fans. When Plaxico caught that TD at the end, everyone went nuts (some of us for different reasons, ha ha).

My strategy was to go off the board a little. I knew most people would take LT, so I didn't think there was good value there. I thought the Chargers might only play two games, and I wasn't convinced LT would really do all that much, so I just went with Kaeding. It turned out pretty good, as I got good numbers from my RB's and in the end Kaeding did ok. I stayed completely away from Moss, thinking that he wasn't going to be nearly as much of a factor as Welker. Turns out I made a good (lucky) call on that one too. So I considered Brady, Welker, and Maroney, but in the end figured I couldn't go away from Brady. I thought R.Grant would be a big factor for the Packers, and figured Barber and Graham were locks to score. Those of us at the top definitely have Grant to thank. Surely we didn't see that coming. I really wanted to take P.Manning also, but ended up taking Hasselbeck because the Seahawks had been passing so much and there wasn't really anyone else I wanted from their team. So that left me with Wayne (which I wasn't too comfortable with), Plaxico, and S.Moss (who had been playing well). I figured the Steelers might get beat in the first round, and of my first-round losers H.Miller was the most attractive TE prospect. The Jags D seemed to be the best option for me (since I figured I would pick wrong on Taylor or Drew), and that left the Titans D to round things out.

I'm definitely excited to have pulled out a monumental win against so many people who are die-hard football fans like me. The people here on the FBG forums are a knowledgeable and studied group, and to end up on top is really gratifying. Now I just need to figure out how to work this into my sig. Maybe I can get some street cred around here.
