Divisional Round- Green Bay @ Dallas Thread (2 Viewers)

This is the divisional match up I had hoped to see as the playoffs started, and by far the most compelling of the weekend.

Going to be a high scoring affair, with the need for either D to step up and force turnovers and get the opposing offence to 3rd and longs and 4th and outs.

While some may say it can take away momentum, home field and an extra week off to prepare is the best of advantages. Sean Lee and company need to shut down the run and short screens/dumps. While it focuses Green Bay on its most potent ability -- the air attack -- it still makes a team more one-dimensional.

Speaking of momentum, Green Bay and Rodgers in particular have all of it. They have a flexible and intelligent offensive attack with a killer audible game. GB D needs to account for Zeke in all facets of the game, which may leave them open for underneath routes and seams. The best thing they could do is get consistent and violent pressure on Prescott, and force the rookie to look like a rookie (not easy, but possible).

Devoting full attention span to this game, going to be a great one to watch.

My forecast: DAL 30 GB 27

Sell out to stop Zeke and make Prescott beat you.

DAL D is a bit underrated as they've seemed to just be able to get it done...but I think with Rodgers playing the way he is....their O will have to win the TOP and dictate how long Rodgers is on the field.

Just play action roll him out and have him pick and choose where to go

I'm just hoping for one (1) competitive playoff game through the 4th quarter

through six games the average score has been 31.8 - 13.3 (191-80) with every game decided by 13 or more

"free play"

I swear they blow those dead for every other team but Rodgers gets a chance to run it

he's good - he's real good

They absolutely blow them dead everywhere else. I notice it all the time. Stafford had one blown dead last weekend.
If the offensive line moves afterwards  they always get blown dead...even for the Packers.  Packers oline held their ground so no whistle.
