What do you guys think of his prospects on the Seahawks defensive line? A 1st round pick in 2008 by Seattle from USC with great measurables and not much talent in front of him on the depth chart.

He already has 3 sacks this year in two games and seems to put up decent stats for the limited number of plays he's on the field for.

im interested as well. Seahawks rotate Tapp and Redding too. I haven't watched their games to see who gets in and when.

Doesn't he rush from the defensive left side, or are they switching that up. At USC he was a four-year starter (VERY impressive for that program) who played exclusively at the LDE position.

defensive left side. and looked pretty effective at it.

dont quote me on it but I believe I saw him move inside on 3rd downs on a few occassions.

I like him a bunch but the bolded is incorrect. The Seahawks have DE talent. Kerney has been a Pro-Bowl level DE, and Tapp is incredibly underrated. I have been pretty frustrated as to why he isn't starting for the 'Hawks, he is good enough against the run. Redding was a DT in Detroit they like as a DE, and he's played pretty well. And I absolutely love the DE they found in the 7th round this year.

Your right.... He has been. But he is nowhere close to that level of player right now. Tapp is a very good prospect, but outside of him I don't think there's anyone else who should get in Jackson's way of starting at DE next season.

He is in spurts, at least he was doing it in spurts in the pre-season & what I saw week 1. The Seahwks are rotating DE heavily. I was hoping for a Tapp-Kerney-Jackson rotation, but Redding has played well enough to merit time. I do think Kerney is done soon.

Is Jackson worth picking up as a 3rd DL? Obviously he has played great and can't keep up this pace, but can he give you solid production moving forward?

So any Seattle homers see the game as all of a sudden he disappeared? Did he get injured?
